Billing
Rules that affect your bill are public. Internal cost mechanics are not product features.
Unit
1 credit = $0.001- Top-ups via Stripe or USDT only (no Alipay / WeChat Pay).
Four public rules
1. Failures are free. Check X-Credits-Charged. Only code === 0 (quality gate passed) is billed.
2. partial bills by effective record ratio (fixed-price endpoints still use fixed credits).
3. Some high-cost endpoints may opt out of daily volume discounts — marked on the endpoint page.
4. Async jobs freeze then settle (M5). Sync API uses reserve → settle / release.
Daily volume discount (Asia/Shanghai calendar day)
| Successful billable calls | Discount |
|---|---|
| 0 – 1,000 | 0% |
| 1,000 – 5,000 | 10% |
| 5,000 – 10,000 | 20% |
| 10,000 – 20,000 | 30% |
| 20,000 – 30,000 | 40% |
| 30,000+ | 50% |
Final price is also floored by cost: max(tiered price, ceil(upstream cost credits × 1.25)) unless ops explicitly exempts the endpoint. Low-margin endpoints may set discount_eligible=false (no tier discount) while still respecting the cost floor.
